Step 1
Prepare the tartar sauce by combining the mayo, chopped pickles, capers, fresh dill, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.

Heat neutral oil in a pan over medium heat.

In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, paprika, salt, beaten egg, and beer, whisking until the batter is smooth.

Cube the fish to bite sized pieces and add to the batter.

Carefully add the battered fish pieces one by one into the hot oil, cooking for about 5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fish from the oil and drain on paper towels.
