This Mango Beer Sorbet is the summer treat you didn’t know you needed! I wish I invented this sooner… It is an incredibly refreshing treat that combines both the sweetness of mango with the crisp, light, citrusy notes of Muskoka Brewery’s Tread Lightly Lager. The beer adds a subtle depth to the sorbet, making it a perfect grown-up dessert for hot summer days. It's so easy to make, and you can whip up the beer syrup ahead of time. Just keep it in the fridge for when the sorbet craving hits. Play around with your favourite fruit combinations and make it your own! Sorbet responsibly.

Combine the beer and sugar in a small saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes until it reaches a syrup consistency. Let it cool, then transfer the syrup to a jar. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
Step 2
In a blender, combine the frozen mango and ½ cup to 1 cup of the beer syrup, adjusting the amount to your desired sweetness.
Step 3
Blend until smooth, then transfer to a freezer-safe container or loaf pan. Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
