Yogurt House makes Balkan-style yogurt with unique flavours

Yogurt House specializes in Balkan-style yogurt-based drinks and pressed sandwiches. The store is located on the second floor, the same building as Tsujiri in North York.

If you are wondering what Balkan-style yogurt is, it is any type of yogurt that is allowed to ferment inside individual containers rather than in a large vat.

The drinks menu features a "Thick Creamy Series," which includes options like sweet corn, Oreo, red bean and peanut butter. Those looking for a more natural taste can try the "Fresh Fruity Series," with fruits like blueberry, mango, dragon fruit and coconut.

Drinks are priced around $7 and you can add mini taro balls, crystal jelly and whipped cream for an extra price.

Their sammies also gained a lot of popularity on social media because of their freshness and unique combinations like red bean shiratama, corn and ham, creamy mushroom and spinach egg white.

Most of the sandwiches are $7.75, including the purple sweet potato sandwich, which comes with a layer of mochi and cream cheese and is one of the most popular items on the menu.
