Winter in Toronto can be very cold and very dark, which makes many of us inclined to hibernate and stay indoors whenever we're going out for a bite to eat. But El Catrin, a popular Mexican restaurant in the Distillery District, is here to change that with an interesting proposition.
They're offering a 4-course brunch for $36, but here's where it gets exciting; if you can finish the entire meal OUTSIDE on their beautiful, fire-heated patio, you get 50% off. That's less than $20 for an entire four-course brunch! It seems like a pretty good deal if you can bear the cold long enough to fork down four dishes and maybe a few (warm) drinks. Their warm cinnamon churros alone are enough of a reason to check this spot out and take part in the challenge.
This challenge is their way of celebrating the Toronto Light Festival that's taking place in the Distillery District and runs every weekend in the month of February.
