Lola's Food, a Venezuelan factory specializing in Latino food such as empanadas, tequeños and other baked goods, continues its expansion throughout Canada.
The Venezuelan brand partnered with Ghost Kitchens back in August 2020, with the first location being in Mississauga. Lola's Food announced new locations all around the GTA, where customers could buy their ready-to-eat Latino treats. With the help of the partnership, they have even expanded as far as Alberta.
This year the brand made an exciting announcement on Instagram, sharing that their newest outpost will be across the pond in St. Catharines, Ontario.
The new location, as a part of Ghost Kitchens, is located inside a local Walmart––which the owners have expressed is a "dream" come true.
"The plan was to visit the new Ghost Kitchens location at Walmart with the family and order some Lola's tequeños, just for our brain to finally accept that this is not a dream, that it is real... and also to enjoy and savour this moment," they wrote on Instagram.
Definitely a huge step for the Latino food scene in Canada.
Lola's Food factory is located at 3490 Laird Rd #9, Mississauga, ON, and is open to the public Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pickup and delivery are available through their website and through popular ordering platforms.
