The most popular vegan food festival is back this year for the fall in Toronto.
Toronto's "Vegandale" strip, located on the stretch of Queen Street West between Dufferin Street and Brock Avenue in Parkdale, offers some of the best vegan food, goods and services in the city. The Vegandale Festival is the fastest growing vegan festival in the world with five cities scheduled for the Fall of 2021. Now in their sixth season, they are hitting the road and making stops in Los Angeles, Austin, New York, Toronto and Chicago. The Toronto stop is set for October 16 at Fort York, Garrison Common.
The safety of their attendees, staff and vendors are at the core of an enjoyable experience at Vegandale Festival. Vegandale's team commented that they are optimistic that their festivals will go forward based on North America’s trends of declining COVID-19 cases and increased vaccination, as well as input from local health officials. They have been working closely with local officials, and will follow all COVID-19 related mandates applicable to their festivals and will provide more information as the festival approaches so their community can know what to expect. Along with local safety protocols, they are currently exploring the possibility of customers ordering through mobile ordering to reduce long lines.
They have planned for some exciting out of town vendors to tour with them for the full course of the festival as well. Iconic names like Snackrilege flying in from Oregon, Avocadamama from California and Oh My Cod Vegan Seafood Co. from Florida will make an appearance throughout the tour. With a full stage line along with a guest host (TBA), this is a party Vegandale says you won’t want to miss.
While you wait for the Vegandale Festival to arrive in October, this summer Vegandale has also partnered with Cabana Pool Bar and Masterchef Dino Luciano. Every Monday starting on June 14 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be a full vegan menu curated for customers to enjoy at Cabana Pool Bar's waterfront patio.
Tickets go on sale for the Vegandale Festival starting July 1 on their website. To stay up to date with their exciting additions to the festival follow them on Instagram.
