Six of Toronto's famed restaurants come together to offer chef-curated meal kits

Some of the most popular Toronto restaurants are now offering meal kits featuring their most beloved dishes.

Gusto 54 Restaurant Group announced the launch of their Eat The City meal kit, which brings together six of their partnered restaurants to curate a series of cook-at-home meal kits.

The six restaurants featured are Gusto 101, Pai Northern Thai Kitchen, Trattoria Nervosa, Chubby’s Jamacian Kitchen, Gusto 501––which opened in February––and Gusto 54's latest venture, Azhar.

Each meal kit will include pre-portioned ingredients to craft a delicious meal for two as well as a visual recipe card, access to a virtual cooking tutorial from the restaurant’s executive chef, and even a curated playlist to jam out to while cooking.

For an extra $20, ETC will toss in a cocktail kit or a bottle of wine for $25.

Meal kits are available for individual pre-orders ($90 each) and are set to be received on specific dates, or they can choose the membership option.

The membership option offers two different curated bundles that will deliver multiple meal kits over a three-month period.

The ‘Total Foodie’ ($450) will send a total of six meals from all featured restaurants between January and March, while the ‘Italian Experience’ ($270) brings three meals from their featured Italian spots.

As an added bonus, one meal kit each month will include a $50 gift card that can be redeemed at the featured restaurant.

As restaurants continue to adapt to the unforeseeable future of dining in Toronto, more and more restaurants are opening new operating channels––continuing to bring the flavour into the homes of hungry Toronto residents.
