There's a new burger in town.
Victor Barry, the chef behind Piano Piano, has launched his latest restaurant venture––a simple burger that claims to "have it all".
The burger is a take on the classic American cheeseburger, with the added touch of Chef Barry’s ‘victory sauce’. Originally available on the menu at Café Cancan, which temporarily closed due to COVID, the burger is now getting its own royal treatment.
Burgers come as either a single ($10) or a double ($14) and can be upgraded to a combo with fries and a drink for an extra six bucks.
It consists of a 5oz patty topped with American cheddar, onions, pickles and the victory sauce sandwiched between a homemade Japanese milk bun.
The burger is a product of nearly a decade of experimentation and refining, says Chef Barry in an Instagram post.
“This burger is exactly what your inner child remembers,” he wrote.
You can get your hands on a burger, a beer or a bottle of wine by ordering through Uber Eats or scheduling a pick-up at 88 Harbord Street.
Victory Burger is operating out of Piano Piano seven days a week from noon until 9:30 p.m.
