Toronto's most famous noodle bar reopens for takeout

Celebrity chef, David Chang's glistening empire of restaurants -- spanning multiple cities across North America -- shuttered their doors amidst the citywide shutdowns back in March. The latest to succumb to the necessity of relying on takeout services -- Momofuku Noodle Bar -- has announced they will be offering a select menu for takeout and delivery through Uber Eats and on the restaurant's website.

Located on University Avenue, the sprawling glass complex is home to three of Chang's offshoots. Kojin, a higher-end restaurant doling out premium cuts of meat and seasonal Ontario produce; Milk Bar, the famed dessert shop operating underneath the Momofuku empire but headed by pastry chef Christina Tosi; and of course, Momofuku Noodle Bar, Chang's original concept that brought him worldwide fame and recognition.

Momofuku's popular Pork Ramen.

So far, only Momofuku Noodle Bar is reopening for takeout from Wednesday to Saturday, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. On offer, of course, are menu staples like Pork Belly Buns and Pork Ramen; as well as the Shiitake Bun, Extremely Spicy Noodles, Chicken Ramen, Ginger Scallion Noodles and Wagyu Pepper Noodles.

Momofuku's large format Korean Fried Chicken.

The restaurant is also offering their large format Korean Fried Chicken and Momofuku Meal Kits that include everything to assembly the Pork Ramen and Momofuku Kimchi Stew at home. You can also purchase a selection of beer and wine, as well as jars of their kimchi and pickles. You can even purchase the Momofuku cookbook, Lucky Peach magazines or the Milk Bar cookbook.
