Toronto's destination for upscale dim sum is now selling meal kits

Located in the Metropolitan Hotel, Toronto's swank destination for high-end Cantonese-style dishes and dim sum has just announced via Instagram that they are launching meal kits.

Touted as some of the best dim sum in Toronto, Lai Wah Heen has had to navigate how best to continue serving its customers in a format conducive to takeout. After months of offering takeout and delivery, the restaurant introduces gourmet meal kits.

In hopes of continuing to innovate, Lai Wah Heen is selling restaurant-quality meal kits that take 30 minutes or less and are meant to feed two people or more. Currently on offer are eight different Cantonese meals from Cantonese Lobster with Ginger & Scallion, Sweet & Sour Pork, Taiwanese "Three-Cup" Chicken, Dong Puo Pork, Wuxi Spare Ribs, Scallop Cakes in Truffle Oil, Beef in Black Pepper Sauce and Cantonese Char Siu.

Orders can be pre-made for the next day through the restaurant's website and are available for pick-up from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. or delivery from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
