Toronto sushi restaurant launches DIY sushi kit

Fine-dining sushi restaurant, Miku, is getting creative when it comes to takeout and delivery options. The restaurant just launched a DIY sushi making kit for delivery on Uber Eats, for pickup through Ritual or by calling in for takeout.

In addition to their regular takeout menu, takeaway drink program and large format sushi platters, the sushi kits are the newest addition to the lengthy menu. Customers have the option between the Soba Peperoncino Kit (serving 2-3 people and costing $28) or the Temaki Sushi Kit (serving 4 people and costing $48).

The Temaki Sushi Kit includes everything you need to roll up your own maki at home: sushi rice, nori, spicy salmon, maguro, salmon, avocado and cucumber.

The Soba Peperoncino Kit is comprised of soba noodles, prawn, squid, bell peppers, noodles, and umami sauce -- everything required to enjoy make-it-yourself soba at home.

As we continue to find new outlets for entertainment within the confines of our own homes, more and more restaurants have started offering interactive and DIY meal kits -- check out all the make-it-yourself options here!
