Yorkville's best kept secret for refined yet unpretentious French bistro classics has decided to reopen for takeout on Tock and through the restaurant's website.
Chabrol had recently relocated from a hidden alleyway tucked off of Yorkville Avenue to a location on Cumberland Street. The restaurant was set to reopen on March 19, 2020 in the new location, but the citywide shutdown ceased all operations.
Chabrol has finally reopened the new location, albeit under very different circumstances. The bistro has launched Chabrol At Home, a prix fixe five course meal available for contactless pickup every Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The meals are priced at $45 per person, with a set two person minimum. The menu changes weekly but you can expect favourite bistro classics like house baked baguette, galantine of Cornish hen, roasted lamb sirloin, roasted carrots and a coconut pineapple tart.
One of the dessert offerings on the takeout menu, Cardinal Gateau: a layered chocolate cake of mousse and ganache.
The restaurant is also selling speciality food items at their fine foods store Masons, wine and beer for takeout and pre-assembled grilling baskets to get you ready for the fast approaching summer!
