Toronto restaurant reopens kitchen for amazing sandwiches

Bodega Henriette King reopened their doors in late October. No longer able to seat guests in their 70 seat restaurant, they are making the best of a bad situation. Offering coffee, snacks and a beer and wine bottle shop, they also sell small household and grocery items. From frozen croissants for baking at home to candles or houseplants, they have you covered. Starting mid-December, they will also be offering decadent sandwiches to-go.

Last week they launched a to-go sandwich menu and it does not disappoint! With bacon, egg and cheddar breakfast sammies as well as vegetarian options, you can’t go wrong.

Try the muffuletta sandwich with mortadella, soppressata, capocollo, Swiss cheese, and olive/pickled veg salad for lunch. Not a meat-eater? They’ve got a Green Goddess sandwich and a vegan breakfast burrito on the menu.

Visit Bodega Henriette King and their friendly staff at 234 King Street East.
