We can all agree that our experience with restaurants (and food in general) has changed over the past several months. Whether you've been ordering in more or you've found yourself cooking up a storm, we are all definitely missing so much of what "once was." Not so long ago, a fancy evening of dining meant securing a reservation well in advance, putting on our best clothes and being waited on for a refill, a next course or a question of, "How are those first bites tasting?"

Ordering in is great, don't get us wrong. But there's something about the interactions we used to have when dining at a restaurant that brought our meals to the next level. Additionally, a sear that's still crispy and hot doesn't compare to the stuff that you get from your takeout box.

Knowing this, fan favourite RASA has partnered with Event Circle, a company famous for creating experiences through private events worldwide, both in-person and virtually.

Rasa

Coming soon, they will be launching their in-home virtual culinary experience through the delivery of an at-home meal kit in combination with a chef on-screen to help you recreate RASA dishes from the comfort of your own kitchen.

Sous chef Cory Kurtzman, general manager Dan Clark, David Ghara and executive chef Davin Shearer.

RASA is starting big -- launching in December, the restaurant will be giving eager diners the option to order a meal kit to their home, accompanied by a code that gives them exclusive access to a live chef demonstration of some of their staple dishes. While head chef Davin Shearer cooks up a storm, those tuning in can ask questions in the chat, which a host will relay to Davin to ensure everyone's able to create a dish they're proud of. In the future, they hope to extend the offering to private events, giving us the chance to celebrate an event properly...something we've been longing for.

So, want to enjoy your RASA salad in sweatpants, cooked by you and coached by one of the city's best chefs? Stay tuned for further announcements!
