No better way to kick off the new year than with a virtual chili and beer festival.
On January 16, the guys at Indie Alehouse will be virtually hosting a chili challenge with five other local restaurants, Bar Hop, Beast Bodega, The Hole in the Wall and Beauty Eats. They’ll each be coming up with their own chili concoction to provide for people to try.
Indie Alehouse will be offering take-home kits, starting at $65 that come with five 250 mL chili bowls from each participating restaurant and six Indie Alehouse beers that have been paired to go along with your chili bowls. You’ll have your choice of traditional or vegetarian for your chili preference.
If you prefer your chili with an extra bit of kick, you can add some Indie hot sauce to the bundle.
Be sure to preorder in advance and you’ll be able to pick up January 14 and 15 at the Indie Alehouse. They’ll also be bringing in local celebrity judges and will be doing a livestream for the event, so we can see who takes home bragging rights (while also helping to support local businesses).
