Tom's Dairy Freeze officially begins their in-person ice cream season, serving from their walk-up window on The Queensway beginning tomorrow, Thursday, April 1.
After launching their new ghost kitchen pop-up only a month ago with ShipNoble, Tom's Dairy Freeze is back again, carrying their long-standing tradition -- since 1969, of opening their doors for soft serve season in the spring.
Similar to last year, health and safety protocols, including social distancing measures, will be in place to ensure that in-person and online pick-up orders go smoothly.
Their pop-up location at Queen Street and Ossington will still be available on Uber Eats and will resume selling their one-litre pints of soft serve with toppings and flavour bursts. Meanwhile, their original location in Etobicoke will officially be providing the entirety of their sweets menu to customers in line. Delivery and pick-up preorders at their Etobicoke location will only be reserved for their pints.
From ice cream tubs, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream sundaes and everyone's favourite twist, Tom's Dairy Freeze will continue to offer seemingly endless customizable options. The only difference this year is that they will not be offering their grill menu.
Starting tomorrow, Tom's Dairy Freeze will have their walk-up window open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.
