For the ones that drool at the thought of trips to IKEA and feel the compulsion to stop and grab the highly-acclaimed meatballs, this Valentine's Day is about to get a whole lot more special.
On a night when every restaurant is either at max capacity or exorbitantly priced, the Swedish furniture giant is offering a special three-course dinner for two for $39.99— a cost-effective way of spending time with your loved ones.
And before you ask, no, you will not be provided with all the ingredients and a recipe — this one actually comes pre-made.
As mentioned earlier, each adult meal costs $39.99 for two and comes with a starter, main, dessert and mocktail.
While the starter (soup or salad), dessert and mocktail options will vary by location, the main course offering are as follows:
- Meatballs with spiced potatoes served with fresh herbs, arugula and pea salad with a turmeric sour cream sauce
- Plant balls with curried cauliflower, lime and coconut sauce served with green beans and red pepper salsa
- Salmon served with vegetable vermicelli, Sichuan vegetables and sautéed sesame coriander sauce
Both Nordic fruit water and mocktails are included in the ticket, but alcohol would need to be purchased separately.
IKEA family members will be available to purchase this dining experience for $29.99 and a kid's ticket for children under 12 costs $4.99. Tickets can only be purchased in-store at the IKEA Swedish Restaurant. Click here to find a store near you and cement your plans for the upcoming Valentine's Day.
