Chef Trevor Lui has partnered up with the Cheese Boutique in celebration of the release of his new cookbook, "The Double Happiness Cookbook: 88 Feel-Good Recipes and Food Stories."
Coinciding with this weekend's upcoming Super Bowl, chef Lui will be taking over the Cheese Boutique's food truck, parked outside the storefront on Ripley Avenue, and will be cooking some of his favourite recipes from his new cookbook.
In spirit of the indulgent nature of the Super Bowl, the collaboration will feature a menu of 'Big Game Eats'. The lineup includes Taiwanese Fried Chicken With Happy Ending Sauce ($21 for five pieces or $40 for 10 pieces), Crazy Rich Asians Singaporean Inspired Nacho Kit ($15), Spicy Asian Slaw ($7) and Hong Shing Spring Rolls ($11). Customers can also opt to order The Big Meal, which includes the above menu items with the 10 piece fried chicken for $108. Pantry items and chef Lui's new cookbook will also be available to purchase, with limited in-person cookbook signings.
Find chef Trevor Lui cooking up a storm this weekend on February 6 and February 7 from noon until they sell out. Look out for the orange food truck parked outside of the Cheese Boutique at 45 Ripley Ave.
