If you've binged Squid Game this past month like everyone else and want to experience one of their games, K Seoul Hot Dog is the place to be. They have introduced the Dalgona game for their customers to play, and if you win, you get a free hotdog, and if you don't, they say, "you never get to leave the store."
Jungho Kim, the owner, shared that the Dalgona game is a traditional game many Koreans grew up playing. After the team at K Seoul Hotdog noticed the popularity Squid Game received, they knew it would be fun for customers to come to try the game out themselves. The shapes they carry are a horse, elephant, dinosaur and the infamous umbrella from the show. Since the start of the challenge on October 11, many fans have been coming in and trying out the challenge for themselves.
Other than the challenge, K Seoul hotdog makes Korean-style corn dogs. Even though corn dogs originated in North America, they eventually made their way to South Korea and adapted with their own twist. After the corn dogs became a staple street food item in Korea, Kim knew they had to bring it to Toronto. The hotdog is coated in batter and deep-fried. Then they are finished with sugar and your own choice of toppings. They have three fillings, sausage, mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese.
