Nanoka Kitchen is hosting a holiday pop-up event tomorrow in Kensington Market.
Nanoka was brought to life by three colleagues who became friends while working at Manic Coffee years ago. Their love of drawing people together and yearning to be with friends and neighbours throughout the lockdown inspired them to launch their pop-up events.
The Nanoka team have been working hard to develop new menus each time to appeal to new customers. They have previously offered an arrangement of bento boxes, sandwiches and other savoury-snacks.
After three successful pop-ups at Manic Coffee, Fix Coffee + Bikes, and most recently Grape Witches, Nanoka is looking to bring some holiday cheer on December 12, now with some sweet treats.
Up for grabs is a limited batch of holiday-themed treats, most notably their assortment of cookies. Customers can choose from their pre-packaged bags of cookies––the 40-piece Cookie Box ($30) comes with an assortment of 11 different cookies. Also available is the smaller 10-piece Cookie Bag ($13) which features four different cookies, as well as a gluten-free Cookie Bag ($16) option.
Customers can also pick up a two-piece Mont Blanc ($16) flavoured with earthy Japanese teas––hojicha and genmaicha.
Pre-orders for Saturday’s pop-up can be made through their website, and are only for pick-ups. The pop-up will be located at El Rey Mezcal Bar in Kensington Market and operate from noon until 4 p.m., or until sold out.
