This new burger joint has a wagyu beef patty on the menu

There are some things a city can't have too many of and burger joints are one of them. Slayer Burger is Toronto's newest burger shop and it's rock-and-roll themed!

The Food:

Slayer Burger is serving everything from classic smash patties on a pillowy potato bun to more extravagant burgers like their Beast Burger, stacked high on a sesame bun with six AAA ground chuck patties each topped with grilled cheese, caramelized onions and bacon

The First Degree burger is a pricy one, but justified by the sumptuous ingredients. A thick and meaty Wagyu beef patty is the star of this burger, topped with bacon, foie gras, fried onions, baby arugula, grilled provolone and slayer sauce all on a charcoal sesame bun. The combination of all these upscale ingredients is nothing like anything we've seen or tried before.

Slayer Burger is also does eggless pastas from acclaimed Toronto fresh pasta shop Famiglia Baldassarre, available with classic tomato, bolognese, alfredo or rosé sauce.

For those who don't eat beef, there's a vegetarian Beyond Burger with cheddar, baby arugula and Slayer sauce on a sesame bun, as well as the Slayer Fried Chicken Burger, ground chicken breast patty is breaded, fried and finished in the oven, and topped with cheddar, arugula and Slayer sauce on a sesame bun.

All burgers are made using locally sourced, organic and ethically raised ingredients. With AAA Canadian beef freshly ground daily and buns baked locally by Padaria, it doesn't get much better than that!

The Space:

Located at 1400 O'Connor Drive in East York, the space has an exposed ceiling and black brick walls, adorned with a large mural of Lemmy from Motorhead painted by local artist Gledisa. The space is dark and modern with an industrial vibe, fitting for the rock and roll themed eatery.
