Geste Croissanterie, a beloved storefront in the Dundas West neighbourhood known for their creative and modern viennoiserie, is now making giant croissants.
Expertly rolled, fluffy with a perfect crunch and even filled with flavours, these mammoth croissants are the treat you never knew you needed. They can be pre-ordered ahead of time in any flavour, so not only can you dig into a massive golden and buttery flaky pastry, but you can also combine any two flavours of your choice for the ultimate indulgent. It's your classic, crispy croissant topped and stuffed with ingredients sure to captivate your sweet tooth, just a lot bigger.
Geste Croissanterie also offers varying weekend specials on top of their usual baked offerings that you can look forward to. Past features include an amarena pistachio tart, a caramelized fresh fig danish with fig jam, almond cream and vanilla ganache montee and an in-house spiced paneer on top of a crispy puff pastry, topped with a lush sour cream raita. Sweet or savoury, they're experimenting with all the flavours.
Amongst their usual offerings, you can also find vegan croissants and house-made breads.
Geste Croissanterie is open from Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., but if your goal is to get your hands on some of their highly sought-after and very limited weekend specials, you'll definitely want to get there early before they sell out.
