The Toronto Food Film Fest will be making its return next month, but this year, they’re going virtual.
From October 16 to 25, you can screen 21 thought-provoking indie films about food and interact with others through film workshops and cooking classes, all in the comfort of your own home.
This year’s lineup includes documentaries, dramas, features and shorts that are sure to make your mouth water, and can be paired with meals from a selection of local restaurants and vendors if the “screen to plate” experience is chosen.
Like the previous year, the festival continues to partner with Rethink Resource in hopes of reducing our carbon footprint by working with participating restaurants and vendors to serve meals in containers that are completely compostable.
General admission and VIP passes go live on September 18 at 9 a.m., which gives you access to all movies and talks, plus a Launch Box containing local goodies for the VIP option. Workshop tickets ranging from $8 to $60 and a la carte tickets for each film and talk are also available starting September 23.
So what are you waiting for? You don’t want to miss out on the city’s only multiday food film fest!
