The pastry team at The Social Blend has started the month off on a sweet note by introducing six macaron flavours for their 'March Rotational.'
Located just east of the Yonge and Eglinton area, the Social Blend is a specialty coffee shop best known for its artisan coffee and Korean-inspired macarons.
Honey Date, Coconut Latte, Birthday Cake and Piggy Bar are the names of the four new flavours introduced this month. Each pastry is bold and delicious in its own right, but the Piggy Bar creation has a specific significance. Modelled after the Korean daeji bar ice cream, this fusion dessert incorporates ice cream buttercream with strawberry, chocolate, and peanut flavours combined into one circular delight.
Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake and Mango Passionfruit are two returning flavours that are also included in the March exclusives. Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake was initially featured in their September Rotational, while Mango Passionfruit made its debut in July.
The Social Blend also offers a wide range of espresso-based beverages that have been ethically sourced from around the world.
Inspired by the student life of routine visits to coffee shops and the conversations that take place within, the Social Blend opened in 2019. Their values lie with the importance of social interactions, whether these actions occur between people, an environment, or coffee––the Social Blend wants to be a part of these stories.
Available now until March 31, these decadent macarons are available in packs of four, five or nine, and are entirely customizable. The Social Blend offers three pickup and delivery options: For in-store pickups, you may enter the shop and select your desserts from the macaron display fridge. Alternatively, you can visit the online pickup menu to pre-order.
The Social Blend also offers an online delivery system that sends coffee and macarons to your doorstep. If your order is over $50, they will provide free shipping within the Greater Toronto Area.
