This summer, Goodfood is taking their at-home food delivery brand to the outdoors with a series of “Poptails Pop-Ups” all over Toronto, where they’ll be handing out their new, limited-time alcohol popsicles—or “Poptails”—for free.
Known for their delicious chef-inspired meal kits, “Poptails” is just the latest creation from the Canadian company. Just last year, they also launched Goodfood On Demand, a grocery delivery service that brings a wide variety of fresh, high-quality products to Toronto foodies’ homes within minutes.
To spread the news of their summer-perfect release, Goodfood has been hosting pop-up events with free packs of Poptails all over town.
These colourful treats currently come in three crowd-pleasing cocktail flavours: the Popa Colada with pineapples, coconut milk, and rum; the Frosée with strawberries, watermelon, lemon juice, and rosé; and the Mojisicle with lemon juice, mint, and tequila. All of Goodfood’s Poptails are also blended with organic cane sugar, adding just the right amount of natural summer sweetness.
To match their energetic persona, every Poptails Pop-Ups will be hosted in “gram-worthy” spaces with bright colours and decorations, including the witty Goodfood Poptails slogan, “Please lick responsibly.”
So far, they’ve already popped up at several Toronto breweries and festivals like Lost Craft, Kensington Brewery, Field Trip Music & Arts Festival, and the Beaches Jazz Fest.
They’ll be continuing their icy tour this month starting with a return to Lost Craft on August 6, followed by Left Field on August 20 and Junction Brewery on August 27. Plus, until August 7, you can get a free Poptail with any purchase of a Seltzer Slushy at Kensington Brewery, while supplies last.
