With the idea of helping local restaurants impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Tourism Mississauga, Mississauga News and Sysco have teamed up to offer a new program called Taste of Mississauga.
The program, which started on March 15 and will run until May 10, aims to support the restaurant industry struggling due to the pandemic and create awareness about the great variety of culinary options from all around the world that the city of Mississauga has to offer.
Over 300 restaurants are participating in the event and businesses can be found on their website. Categorized into a multitude of options, you will find Thai, Turkish, Southern, Persian, Pizza, Hungarian, Egyptian and fast food, to name a few.
The campaign encourages people to support local restaurants and experience the diverse number of cuisines available in Mississauga through takeout and delivery while safely following COVID restrictions.
Restaurant owners can submit their business information to be featured at no cost by registering through the Taste of Mississauga website.
