Singaporean noodle shop opens in Stackt Market

After being hit hard due to COVID-19, Makan Noodle is back and better than ever. They wouldn't be where they are today if it wasn't for Beanfield Metroconnect, who has helped them reopen their doors at Stackt Market. Known as the Real OG Singaporean, Trevor is serving up his bold flavours to the city of Toronto. “Makan” means “to-eat” in Malay, and you can bet you'll be doing a lot of that at this beloved shipping container.

Although in-restaurant dining has been put on hold, Lui fortunately has the perfect location for takeout -- his Noodle Bar at Stackt Market is ready to serve up an authentic laksa experience.

Want to know the secret to their bold flavours? It is an age-old family heirloom passed down right from beautiful Singapore. They might not be sharing the recipe, but they are sharing all the dishes with you.

Their traditional OG Laksa is filled with chicken, fish cakes, tofu puffs, egg, cucumber, laksa leaf and homemade sambal. What could be better than that? Also worth of a try is their Bee Hoon Noodle Soup⁣ or Shrimp or Pork Chili Wontons...or maybe all of the above.

Now is the time that we need to support our local spots more than ever. So be sure to stop by Tuesday to Sunday, located in Stackt Market at 28 Bathurst St #1-101⁣. Happy eating!
