A quick weekend jaunt to Montreal used to be an act of spontaneity. A short Porter flight away, or a cheap Megabus ride, and you could be roaming the streets of the Plateau in no time. Then came COVID and now a trip to the grocery store feels like a big outing.
If you are missing Montreal eats as much as I am, good news, you can now get some of your favourite food items delivered right to your door!
I Miss MTL Food, a newly launched food delivery service, is now offering shipping on select food items from Montreal and shipping them directly to customer's doorsteps in Toronto and the GTA.
Customers are asked to email or call the courier with food order requests from any Montreal restaurant or bakery. The estimated cost is then quoted and your food items are sent out for delivery. Customers will receive a text message once their order has arrived.
I Miss MTL Food calls themselves a long distance Uber Eats and is offering things like smoked meat from Schwartz's, lamb shish taouk from Damas and kosher sesame beef from Deli 365.
