SanRemo Bakery is reopening for delivery and curb-side pick up

Toronto's beloved bakery of over 50 years was one of many businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite efforts to remain open and serve their loyal customers, SanRemo Bakery made the difficult decision to close their doors on March 22 to help curb the spread of the novel virus.

Earlier this week, the bakery announced on their Instagram page that they will be reopening in the coming two weeks. Although an exact date and updated menu has not yet been launched, the bakery is working with their faithful following to give the people what they want!

As hinted on their page, some of the items available for pick-up and delivery include their original homemade tomato sauce, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, bread flour, deli, cheese, bread, select baked goods and hot foods, coffee beans and you guessed it -- donuts.

Orders must be placed online before 2pm the day prior, with a minimum spend of $25. Contactless curb-side pick up will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and delivery times will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The bakery is also offering free delivery on orders over $100. There will be a $10 delivery fee applied to all orders under $100. Don't wait too long because the bakery will be limiting the number of deliveries and pick-ups per day to keep both the staff and community safe.

The bakery is encouraging the community to spread kindness and place orders together for the elderly and their neighbours in need. Visit SanRemo Bakery's Instagram page to see a list of postal codes the bakery will be delivering to, as well as updates on when delivery and curb-side pick-up will be available.
