Salad King is almost ready to open second location on Queen West

The popular Toronto spot is set to open their second restaurant in the coming weeks, they announced on Instagram.

Salad King, a well-known spot for casual Thai eats, revealed their new storefront on Sunday. The second location comes after 30 successful years operating their primary spot on Yonge Street––across from the Ryerson University campus.

The Queen West location will boast a familiar menu, featuring their excellent 'Phud Thai', curry dishes and other customer favourites.

Opening during the pandemic will come with its drawbacks, so the restaurant will only be offering takeout upon launch. The interior will display its patented quirky wall designs and modern seating.

The Yonge location boasts a massive dining area that has regularly served over 1000 people per day before the pandemic. The spot is easily identified by a large Salad King sign dressed in orange and the new location will be just as easy to spot.

The restaurant's second location is perched in the heart of Queen West near McCaul Street.
