Last weekend some of Toronto's favourite burgers were gracing one of the hottest waterfront patios in Toronto, just in time for summer. Rosie's Burgers kicked off a summer partnership with The Slip on May 20, marking the patio bar's reopening for the season.
Located at 235 Queens Quay, The Slip is an open-air seasonal bar at the Harbourfront Centre, brought to you by Boxcar Social. The Slip did a soft launch for this year's season in mid-March, and now that they've had their grand opening, they'll be running through until September. Right next to the centre's concert stage, the 250-capacity lakeside spot to sip through an ample selection of beer, wine and cocktails while soaking up the summer sun.
With this year’s partnership with Rosie’s Burgers, the backyard bbq vibes are top-notch. With their “just the classics” slogan, Rosie’s gained a cult-like following from their Port Credit location for serving up straightforward, juicy, crowd-pleasing burgers. Paired with other staples like fries, poutine, shakes, floats and chicken sandwiches, Rosie’s expanded into Toronto last year with a location on Queen West. And now, at The Slip, Rosie’s is bringing their simple menu of delicious burgers with one, two, or three patties to the waterfront all summer long.
The Slip is also rounding out their summer plans with a serving of Good Behaviour’s ice cream. With flavours ranging from elevated classics like Madagascar Vanilla to more adventurous offerings like Hong Kong Milk Tea or Tiramisu, Good Behaviour’s quality ice creams offer an array of nut-free, gluten-free and vegan options as well. The ice cream pop-up will be at the Harbourfront Centre all summer long to help you beat the heat by the water.
With the complete summer trifecta of classic burgers, ice cream, and drinks in the sun, The Slip at the Harbourfront Centre is a sunny experience you won’t want to miss. Check it out at 235 Queens Quay.
