Pour Taste is a speciality bottle shop located in the lobby of the Beverley Hotel that features exclusive wines, custom gift boxes, virtual tastings and monthly wine subscriptions.
The bottle shop is an extension of the growing Ration Food Lab, which began as a restaurant concept and developed into a grocery delivery service in response to the pandemic.
Their slogan reads 'Great wine tells a story; but it doesn’t have to be complicated.' With that being said, Pour Taste focuses on awareness and education for everyone, regardless of how experienced they are when it comes to wine.
Pour Taste has a team of wine enthusiasts and sommeliers that handpick a variety of classic, natural and biodynamic wines that have been sourced locally as well as internationally. The wines are made by small producers, planet-friendly winemakers and specifically highlight Ontario vineyards.
The Beverley Wine Club is Pour Taste's wine subscription, which allows you to select three or six bottles of wine on a monthly basis. The bottles are delivered to your doorstep and include a virtual tasting, tasting notes and numerous Ration snacks. The subscription options are divided into Old World, Au Naturel and Oenophile.
There are several Ontario-based wines currently featured on their website for purchase, such as Westcott Vineyards 'Violette’ Brut Sparkling, Adamo Estate Gamay Nouveau, Fourth Wall Wines Pinot Gris, Adamo Estate ‘Legacy’ Pet-Nat and Rose Hall Run ‘Pixie Petite’ Rosé Spritzer.
Pour Taste is located within The Beverley Hotel at 335 Queen Street West.
