Popular Toronto chocolatier opens new spot on Ossington, just in time for the holidays

One of Toronto's most popular chocolatiers has just opened another location, this time in the heart of the Ossington strip.

Avoca Chocolates, a locally owned chocolatier, has unveiled their new 3,000 square foot shop at the corner of Ossington Avenue and Foxley Street. Avoca is a family-owned, Toronto-based chocolatier specializing in fair trade and organic chocolates that use natural ingredients with no preservatives. They first opened up back in Riverdale in 2015 and have spread across Toronto since then with this new location on Ossington being their third and most recent outpost.

The new location will be their largest to date, spanning a 3,000 square-foot facility, and will offer handmade organic chocolate truffles, ice cream and gelato. They are popular for many of their creative offerings like chocolate bombs, eggnog truffles, chocolate Christmas trees and more. You can even find adorable masked Santas and bunny chocolates for sale as well. They have a variety of vegan options and the majority of their products are gluten free as well.

The new location for Avoca Chocolates is located at 148 Ossington Avenue. They have just opened last week and their hours run everyday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through to Fridays, and until 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. They have plans for hosting in-person chocolate making classes and workshops coming in 2022 as well.
