Tut's, the popular Egyptian street food vendor, has now expanded to the Little Italy neighbourhood in Toronto.

After impressing their guests with their sweet and savoury sandwiches at food truck festivals across Toronto and their coveted King West location, Amr Elmazariky, the managing partner, knew opening a new brick and mortar location would be their next step.

As part of Tut’s brand identity, they want to create a mural in each branch to connect customers to ancient Egyptian history. They will be collaborating with a graffiti artist to create the new mural at this location. The team shared, since the new branch is located in an Italian neighbourhood, showcasing history's most famous lovers Cleopatra and Mark Anthony would be a great addition to the murals they’re already known for––Tutankhamun, Nefertiti and Anubis at the King Street branch.

Tut’s serves mini Egyptian sandwiches made with fresh buns made in house, including one of the fan favourites, the Ferakh, made with grilled chicken, coriander, onions and tammeya sauce (garlic sauce). They even carry vegan and vegetarian options with their falafel and cauliflower sandwiches. The sandwiches come packed in cute boxes often paired with their crispy fries.

Tut's goal for the next few years is to make their sandwiches available to all customers around Ontario. They feel opening this second location is definitely the beginning and hint that there are more to come this year and in the future. Find their new location at 617 College Street in the heart of Little Italy.
