Calling all doughnut hole lovers, sweet fiends and treat enthusiasts! Mr. Puffs has opened a new location in North York.
Now open at 808 York Mills Road, Unit 10, Mr. Puffs is a delightful dessert shop serving a version of doughnuts—based on the Greek loukoumades, or deep fried Greek donuts typically served with honey—called Puffs. Puffs are deep fried, yeast-based, vegan-friendly treats loaded with an assortment of glazes and toppings.
Puffs flavours include blueberry, cappuccino, creamy caramel or maple, sugar cinnamon, and WOWBUTTER (a peanut butter substitute) and raspberry jam. The shop also serves milkshakes and artisanal drinks, and soft serve ice cream.
Founded in Montreal in 2004 by Billy Siounis, Mr. Puffs started as a small food stand. Now, the patisserie and cafe has expanded across Canada, to the U.S., and even Greece. Mr. Puffs currently has a handful of locations in Ontario, including shops in Mississauga, Whitby and Hamilton.
Mr. Puffs may be a large franchise, but there is no denying the comfort food value and scrumptious flavours of its hot and fresh Puffs. Hot tip: wait for your Puffs to cool off a little so you don't burn your mouth and can truly enjoy the experience!
Mr. Puffs North York is open Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
