A revered smash burger joint has opened a new location in Toronto.

Extra Burger, known for their late night eats and super simple menu, just opened a new spot out in Oakwood Avenue near St. Clair Avenue West. They just softly opened last week and have already been shown an outpouring of love by the community.

On the menu, you'll find a simple but exciting menu. The focus is simply on the burger with fries, and pickles. The burgers are done old-school, smashed onto a griddle flat top with light seasoning. The burger comes topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and special sauce on a Martin's potato roll. You can get them with single and double patties. It's the simplicity that makes people love Extra Burger.

They've also added options like an Impossible burger and fried chicken sandwich to expand on their past of just classic beef burgers. For the new location, they will be rolling out milkshakes as well. They will run different flavours as specials from time to time, so definitely be sure to grab one to pair with your burger.

Extra Burger's new digs can be found at 319 Oakwood Avenue. They have booths for dine in and takeout, while also available through all the usual suspects for delivery. Soft opening hours are 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., so be sure to check them out.
