Despite everything going on amidst the pandemic, one popular burger shop has just opened a new location in the Entertainment District.
Burgers n' Fries Forever had their soft opening this past weekend at 106 John Street, with lineups wrapping around the block.
Originally from Ottawa, the Canadian owned Burgers n' Fries Forever (BFF) is known for serving tasty burgers and creative seasonal menu items, including burgers of the month. Right now, they're offering their new burger, The Drip Drip, which is comprised of AAA dry-aged beef patties topped with caramelized onions, dill pickles and a thick slab of salted butter.
Owner Jamil Bhuya is the creative mind behind it all and emphasizes serving burgers for everyone with halal, vegan, and gluten-free options.
To celebrate the launch of their Toronto John St location, BFF is running a "12 Days of Burgers" holiday giveaway, where random select Uber Eats delivery orders will have a Golden Ticket. The Golden Ticket entitles the winner to a free meal for two and a copy of "Cooking From Home," a cookbook resulting from a collaboration between 30+ Canadian chefs. Bhuya purchased the books and those proceeds will go to Not 9 To 5, a charity that helps provide mental health resources to workers in the restaurant industry.
