If you had won $10,000 cash, but couldn't keep it for yourself, who would you give it to? The Burger's Priest wants to know and are running a giveaway to make it happen.
The Burger's Priest is one of the most popular burger chains, having grown to over 23 locations since its inception at their flagship location on Queen St East. They wanted to celebrate their 10 year anniversary, but with the pandemic at hand, they didn't feel like "celebrating" was the right thing to do while the local communities were hurting.
Instead, for ten days from December 1 to December 10, they are running a $10,000 prize giveaway to award a lucky recipient. The only caveat is that said recipient won't actually keep any of it. They must give that money to a deserving person, charity or small business as a way to "pay it forward". But the winner will also be getting free burgers for an entire year.

They will also be launching a new burger to help promote the 10K giveaway. The First Ten Burger is available for the duration of the contest and only available while supplies last at all their Toronto locations. It's their Classic Bacon Cheeseburger topped with G14 sauce, maple dipped bacon, and nestled in between two warm soft grilled donuts sprinkled with a dusting of powdered sugar.
They will also be selling merchandise to commemorate their ten year anniversary. All proceeds will go to The Full Plate, a non-profit to help hospitality workers during COVID-19.
