One of Toronto's most popular culinary classrooms is launching a pop-up in Toronto. Since their classes have been put on hold since August 2020, they decided to bring their bakery to Toronto residents. Opening up April 3 for Easter weekend in The Junction, Le Dolci pop-up will be selling all their popular treats that they teach in class and bake year-round.
Every weekend, they'll be launching new signature items in addition to their most famous baked goods like cupcakes, cakes and cookies. For Easter weekend, they will be doing ooey gooey hot cross buns along with mini egg cookies and Easter bunny smash cakes. They'll also be looking at various surprise menu items like chocolate peanut butter caramel brownies, cinnamon buns, lemon meringue pie jars, butter tarts, salted espresso hot fudge brownies and more! Along with some of these popular treats, they will also have various options including plant-based, vegan and gluten-free items.
The Le Dolci pop-up will be open at 12 Sousa Mendes Street starting April 3, at the foot of the pedestrian bridge, which crosses the tracks for the Bloor TTC Station and Bloor UP Station. They'll be open Saturdays and Sundays during April and May. The pop-up hours will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until they sell out. If the pop-up is a success, they may be looking at a longer-term fixture that could include homemade ice cream, cold brews and kombucha as well.
