Pie Bar has a new popup behind Murphy’s Law

A new wood-oven pizza and beer popup has arrived in the Beaches.

The Pie Bar Pizza Garden Pop-up will be open until the end of the summer behind Murphy’s Law Pub & Kitchen in the east end, just a few minutes walk from Woodbine Beach. Murphy’s Law Pub & Kitchen has turned the space behind their patio into a pizza garden, complete with picnic-style seating and two wood-burning pizza ovens, where customers will be able to enjoy traditional Neapolitan pizzas and a wide selection of canned beverages––some of which are exclusive to the Beer & Pizza Garden.

The food menu includes more than 20 pizzas and two salads. Some of the customer favourites are the Godfather with fior di latte, double-smoked wild boar bacon, dry-cured pepperoni and rosemary ham, or the Tartufo with Italian truffle cream, fior di latte, a trio of forest mushrooms, roasted garlic confit, wild boar bacon and fresh snipped chives.

Pizzas can be enjoyed with over 20 canned beverages to choose from including local beers, seltzers, cider and more.

If you want to visit the patio in the company of your friend with four paws, you can bring it with you! They have a "PAW-tio" menu that offers up some specials for your dog.

The Pie Bar Pizza Garden Pop-up is located at 1702 Queen Street East and is open Monday to Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday to Sunday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
