From Baywatch to bay leaf, Pamela Anderson is set to star in two Corus Entertainment shows under the Food Network Canada and HGTV brands.
These are well-timed announcements given the recent sympathy and popularity she's garnered after her Netflix documentary, “Pamela, A Love Story” and her memoir "Love, Pamela" were released earlier this year.
Pamela has been a vegetarian since she was a child and a vegan for three decades; her passion for plant-based food and animal rights is going to carry over into Pamela’s Cooking With Love (working title) where she will act as host and sous-chef with a series of guest chefs. Pamela and her guest chefs will gather ingredients by hand to develop delicious plant-based menus for friends and family. Production for this will start this summer and should premier in 2024, there will be eight hour-long episodes.
The second show that's been given the greenlight is a second season of Pamela’s Garden of Eden -the eight episodes are already undergoing production and will follow Pamela's journey of renovating her grandmother's six-acre legacy property on Vancouver Island. It'll also feature her in LA helping her son Brandon Lee renovate his new home as well.
"Creating elegant and inviting spaces that inspire a compassionate, calm and healthy environment has always been important to me and comes naturally," said Pamela Anderson. "Corus Studios and I have set mutual goals with good intentions. It's been a learning curve - and I am confident they will be a positive partner in helping bring my true vision to life."
If we're SUPER lucky, Pamela’s Cooking With Love will be filmed on the renovated Vancouver Island property, that's something I would LOVE to see.
Both shows will be distributed internationally by Corus Studios, and Lee, Jesse Fawcett and Robert Hardy will serve as executive producers for both projects, with Pamela as executive producer on Pamela's Cooking With Love.
