One of Canada's 100 Best restaurants is now open for takeout

Today marks the commencement of Ontario's first stage of reopening the economy and although some restrictions are slowly being lifted, it is yet to be determined when restaurants will be allowed to safely open to dine-in patrons.

With a sense of uncertainty in the air, more and more restaurants seem to be coming around to the idea of offering takeout and delivery -- for this remains to be the new normal for those in the hospitality industry.

Now Giulietta can be added to the long list of establishments offering takeout and delivery options. The sleek, contemporary Italian restaurant announced via Instagram that they will be offering curbside pickup and delivery starting May 15.

Helmed by Chef Rob Rossi and David Minicucci, the neighbourhood gem of Dufferin Grove and one of Canada's 100 Best, is now available on Uber Eats and Tock To Go.

On offer are several salads and starters -- a whole burrata, Swiss chard salad and focaccia Pugliese. For mains, a selection of pizzas and pastas that include a crab spaghetti, ravioli with ricotta and spring peas and a soppressata pizza. To accompany mains, fresh vegetable sides such as grilled asparagus, fingerling potatoes and roasted peppers. Lastly, for dessert, a classic tiramisu and a salted caramel budino.

Available to purchase, the whole octopus comes fully cooked and marinated with lemon and fresh bay and is ready to grill at home.

In addition to a selection of restaurant favourites, cook at home pizza and pasta kits, as well as grill at home options are also available. Make tonnarelli cacio e pepe, a margherita pizza or grill a marinated pork chop or county striploin.

Lastly, one cannot forget about the libations. Bottled cocktails, a bourbon old fashioned and a negroni -- that serves two -- is available for $16; in addition to a wine and beer list to complement your meal.

Giulietta is seemingly becoming a one-stop-shop for DIY meal kits, Italian staples and filling up on pantry essentials.
