This new Toronto holiday pop-up is transitioning to a takeout market

Now that Toronto has entered lockdown and winter has arrived, we could all use a bit of good cheer for the holidays. Sweaters n' Snowflakes, Toronto's newest holiday pop-up market comes from the same minds behind the KissMe Patio Popup and Fall n' Leaves. Though originally planned as an outdoor heated patio with festive photo ops aplenty, it is transitioning into a kitschy outdoor takeout market.

They will still be offering up many creative and unique options, including Candy Cane Corn, teriyaki noodles served in a Santa hat or Holiday Poutine, topped with cheese curds, gravy, stuffing, cranberry mayo, cranberries, turkey and chives. If you're looking for something a bit more comforting and traditional, they will still also be offering classics like wood-fired pizzas, ribs, turkey legs and more.

If you have a bit of a sweet tooth, especially around the holidays, then fun desserts like their Nutella Candy Cane Hot Chocolate and Candy Cane Gingerbread Elephant Ears are the perfect way to sweeten up your holiday season. Before you go, don't forget to grab some mulled wine or spiked cider to go on the way out!

Safety is still a priority as they will have a limited amount of people allowed at once, while maintaining social distancing measures throughout. All food and drinks (including alcohol) will be prepared takeout style. No dining on site will be permitted and masks are required for entry.

They'll be opening December 10 to December 27, weekdays from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. The pop-up will also be open Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Located at the corner of Bathurst and Richmond, be sure to check out Sweaters n' Snowflakes to squeeze what little joy out of 2020 you can.
