A new Nashville hot chicken spot has opened up in Greektown. Juicy Birds Nashville Hot Chicken just celebrated its grand opening on on Feb. 17, located at the corner of Pape and Danforth.
Juicy Birds celebrated their grand opening by offering free “dirty hot fries,” a basket of seasoned French fries topped with bite-sized chunks of Nashville hot chicken and a healthy drizzel of their house “come-back” sauce, with any purchase over $20. They offered a similar deal on Family day, with two free full wings along with any purchase over $30.
But, it would hardly be Nashville hot chicken without a chicken sandwich. Thankfully, Juicy Birds has got that covered. Even after only being open a short time, Juicy Birds has already accrued a handful of rave ratings on Google. Many patrons praised their G.O.A.T. chicken sandwich, a whole deboned chicken leg, Nashville spiced and breaded and topped classically with kosher dill pickles, coleslaw and some of their come-back sauce, all atop a brioche bun.
The menu has a handful of other unique sandwich options, chicken by the piece, and a variety of sides to accompany your meal. Their chicken is 100 per cent Halal and hand breaded, and tossed in their homemade Nashville style chicken dressing.
Juicy Birds Nashville Hot Chicken can be found at 721 Pape Avenue, right next to Pape subway station.
