Markham's massive indoor Asian mall, Pacific Mall, has just announced on their website that they will be reopening as of today, June 19. The mall will be open everyday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. but only the North and South entrances will open, the West entrance is solely used for food and beverage pickup.
The mall, of course, has set out to abide by the physical distancing protocols to ensure shoppers and employees remain safe.
The food court remains closed for dine-in patrons but vendors are still taking preorders by phone for pickup at the West entrance.
The 270,000 square foot complex is home to an abundance of stores and food vendors and remains the largest indoor Asian shopping mall in North America and quite possibly in the Western world.
Face coverings are not mandatory to visit the mall but are highly recommended.
