Markham's Smash Kitchen & Bar has expanded its business further east, launching a new location in Whitby this past weekend.
The popular Unionville outpost describes itself as "upscale casual comfort cuisine" for good reason, with offerings such as truffle sweet potato fries, eggplant tacos, and shrimp & crab mac n' cheese. In addition to classic burgers, sandwiches, salads, and pizzas, Smash Kitchen also prides itself on a selection of tacos and other "true comfort" dishes like beef ragout, buttermilk chicken and ribs.
They also offer a special brunch menu on weekends, including delicious dishes like seafood cakes benedict, chicken & waffles, and smash French toast, with cinnamon sugar, local maple syrup, fresh berries and fresh mint.
Additionally, there are weekly deals for two and four that feature innovative pairings not featured on the standard menu, including curries, Mediterranean platters and seafood spreads.
Smash Kitchen Whitby is located at 75 Consumers Drive, Unit B1 and is already running on Uber Eats for takeout. The trusted new location is a very welcome addition to Durham's growing food scene.
