Local chain donating 10,000 meals to food banks in Ontario

It goes without saying that it has been a tough year, but one burrito chain is trying to do its part in order to help the community. Starting February 22 to April 4, Burrito Bandidos is creating a campaign to donate 10,000 meals to local food banks across Ontario through Feed Ontario.

Burrito Bandidos started in Toronto and has branched out to locations all across southwestern Ontario. They specialize in burritos, quesadillas and bowls. They're partnering with Feed Ontario, a charity organization that works with food banks, industry partners and local communities to help end hunger and poverty.

The campaign has started with their 1614 Queen St. location in Toronto. Each restaurant location will participate in the campaign for a week. For every meal purchased at the restaurant, they will be donating three meals on your behalf. As well as the donated meals, they will be providing complimentary lunches to employees and volunteers in local food banks during the campaign.

You can order directly through the restaurant or on any of their third-party delivery partners, like Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash.
