There's no time like the present to cozy up with a couple bottles of something funky from the comfort of your own home. Sadly, wine bar patios are no-more, so we must find new ways to enjoy curated selections from wine experts. We're feeling extra thankful that Lake Inez is bringing back their Monthly Weird Wine subscription.
Lake Inez's "Weird Wine Club" first launched in 2019 -- this OG foray into the wine club world looked a lot different back then than it does now -- winos in the mood to try something different paid a fee and met at the restaurant to learn, taste and interact with others in the wine community.
In November, the wine club of course didn't allow for this in-person experience, but like many others in the industry, they pivoted with a new plan. By entering the subscription, you get access to 5 low-intervention fun wines, 1 Miller High life to bring back the nostalgia of years past, 1 edible flower (cause why not?) and a description of each of the lovely wines you'll be consuming.
In today's day and age, we're lucky that restaurants and wine bars have had the ability to transform into wine shops and take-away bodegas. But this subscription servic takes things to the next level, by not just providing the wines, but a new way to enjoy and learn about the delicious bottles of vino included in the subscription.
November's service may be over, but there are more just like it coming up in the future. So make sure to follow Lake Inez on Instagram or Facebook to learn more about their December drop, which will be posted about as soon as the new month hits. And in the meantime, order from their delicious, ever-changing, to-go menu to stay satiated and have a dining experience from home that you will not forget.
