Popular, upscale NYC brand Kith has announced its entrance into the Canadian market with a new flagship opening in Toronto on Thursday, September 22, 2023.
The store will indeed carry Kith's in-house, multi-brand, ready-to-wear apparel, accessories, and footwear for men, women, and kids, alongside an in-shop Kith Treats bar and a Sadelle's restaurant. This will be the treats bar and Sadelle's first forays into the Canadian food scene, too.
Kith Treats is a dedicated cereal bar that first opened in 2015, featuring cereal-focused soft serve, milkshakes and straight up cereal bowls, while Sadelle's is an iconic NYC diner that opened in SoHo in 2016, serving such staples as smoked fish and house made bagels. Both brands have since established an international presence alongside Kith.
Kith Treats will offer its signature cereal offerings, and visitors can experience Sadelle's culinary excellence with its beloved all-day dining offering of bagels, sliced-to-order salmon, chopped salads, world-famous French toast and more.
Founder, CEO and Creative Director Ronnie Fieg is behind the mammoth brand that is Kith. Fieg designed the two-story flagship Toronto location in Yorkville to match signature elements of Kith’s retail concept, adjusted with unique details that speak to its bespoke setting. The aesthetic reflects clean and modern designs, and captures a vibrant elegance constructed with Venetian Plaster, Alba Chiara, Verias Green Marble and more.
Guests will find premium apparel and accessories on the first floor, while the second floor showcases an exclusive Kith Kids offering, Kith Treats and Sadelle's.
Kith notes that the Kith Treats and Sadelle’s area is elevated with Rosa Aurora Stone and is complimented by its blend of wood, stone and metal accents—creating a sharp, sophisticated setting.
In addition, Kith has worked with New Balance to reinterpret the 1700 silhouette in two new colourways inspired by Toronto for the opening: Rococco Red and Marshmallow. Limited editions of the Rococco Red are available at the flagship store and online, while the Marshmallow is available at all Kith shops and online.
Kith, Kith Treats and Sadelle's are located at 78 Yorkville Ave. The store is open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
