Come the holidays, winter fairs are a dime a dozen. If so much tinsel and twinkle lights, carolling and cocoa start to feel humdrum, the city’s dopest holiday market promises to blaze brighter than the rest. A two-day, cannabis-friendly market and street food festival, the KIND Winter Fair invites guests to celebrate with food, shops, drinks and a host of cannabis retailers selling everything needed for a particularly jolly holiday.
Taking place at RendezViews this December 7 and 8, the KIND Winter Fair is a festive offering with a unique angle. With outdoor fires and a 20,000-square-foot tent, the event promises the cozy atmosphere you’d expect, with the bonus of outdoor consumption zones and over 35 cannabis brand activations and local retailers. Participating brands include Canopy, Cannara, Rubicon, Truss, Canada is Dope and Weed Me.
Learn about your favourite cannabis products and accessories as you sip cocktails, enjoy complimentary maple taffy at the sugar shack, and sup on a selection of street-food faves. Confirmed vendors include Blondies Pizza, Smithers Sausage, Baan Authentic Thai Food and Chocosol Traders, with additional eats by James Beard-nominated chef Jordan Wagman. A cannabis culinary expert, Wagman’s food is seasonally focused, local, fresh and just the thing to boost your energy as you explore everything the market has to offer.
Pop-up performances, live music, ice and light activations, and plenty of over-the-top decorations promise to make the event exceptionally bright.
Hosted by KIND, a media and events company committed to “the destigmatization of cannabis through kindness, community, education and entertainment,” the KIND Winter Fair is the most inclusive place to live the high life this holiday season.
The KIND Winter Fair will take place on December 7 and 8, between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. To buy tickets, visit the website.
